KAARTEN VOOR DE NOBELE HOEVE
Diep in de lage landen, onder de rivieren en in het hart van de intensieve veehouderij bevindt zich De Nobele Hoeve. Een magische plek waar het zonlicht wordt gefilterd door dansende bladeren, waar de lucht is gevuld met vrolijke liedjes en waar allerlei grote en kleine wezens hun natuurlijke leven leiden.
Op De Nobele Hoeve woont inderdaad een bonte verzameling van grappenmakers, eigen-wijzen, knuffelkonten, roze wolken, avonturiers, kletstantes, houdini’s, kattenkoppen en troetelaars. Allen met een eigen karakter, maar allen even bijzonder, wijs en intelligent.
Om deze wezens te vieren en De Nobele Hoeve te ondersteunen hebben mijn lieve vriendin en getalenteerde schrijver Britt van Little Universe en ik lieve zachte Otje, deugniet Willem, bezige bij Mila en twee varkenskinderen uit het Biggen Bos op de gevoelige plaat vereeuwigd, ecologisch afgedrukt op mooie A5 kaarten en vergezeld door prachtige gedichtjes. De gedichtjes die op de prints staan zijn: ‘dieren’, ‘bezieling’, ‘de nobele hoeve’ en ‘moeder aarde’.
Stichting de Nobele Hoeve is eind mei 2017 opgericht door Margarit Gerrits en heeft tot doel: het creëren van bewustwording op het gebied van welzijn van mens en dier, milieu en duurzaamheid om zo onze ecologische voetafdruk te verkleinen. De Nobele Hoeve houdt zich ook bezig met opvang en verzorging van verwaarloosde en mishandelde dieren. Deze dieren blijven daar hun hele leven. www.denobelehoeve.nl
CARDS OF POETRY FOR DE NOBELE HOEVE
Somewhere deep down in the nether lands, below the rivers, and in the heart of intensive livestock farming, you will find De Nobele Hoeve. A magical place where the sunlight is filtered through dancing leaves, where the air is filled with cheerful songs, and where all sorts of creatures, big and small, live their natural lives.
De Nobele Hoeve is indeed home to a motley collection of pranksters, self-willed beings, cuddly bears, pink sweeties, adventurers, chatterboxes, Houdinis, and feisty creatures. All with their own character, but all equally special, wise, and intelligent.
To celebrate these creatures and support De Nobele Hoeve, my dear friend and talented writer Britt from Little Universe and I created a set of cards featuring sweet Otje, naughty Willem, busy bee Mila and two piglets from the Piglet Forest accompanied by beautiful poems. The poems on the prints are: ‘animals’, ‘inspiration’, ‘De Nobele Hoeve’ and ‘mother earth’.
The cards are printed ecologically and are now available at the Little Universe webshop. All profits go to De Nobele Hoeve.
Foundation De Nobele Hoeve was founded at the end of May 2017 by Margarit Gerrits and aims to create awareness in the field of human and animal welfare, environment, and sustainability in order to reduce our ecological footprint. De Nobele Hoeve also provides shelter and care for neglected and abused animals. These animals remain there their whole lives.
