DOG.EAT.PLANT. NEWS
Today I submitted the DOG.EAT.PLANT. recipes to Rick Scholtes to be reviewed by a serious committee.
Calculations and expertise will be released onto the recipes so that we can proudly say yes DOG.EAT.PLANT. is THE guide packed with inspiration, information, science and recipes to help your dog safely and lovingly switch to a plant-based diet.
I am without words when it comes to this project. So many beautiful people have offered their guidance. Not only is Rick a fantastic person to work with, our new publisher Tree Books is very enthusiastic.
We are so grateful for the willingness of dear dog friends Marlies Kreischer, Selma Krap, Marcella de Bakker, Lobke Faasen, Alex Romijn and Margarit Gerrits to share with us the beautiful plant based adventures they experience with their four-legged comrades. That their dog children Noah, Isa, Vida, Mara, Bobbie, Rani, Teddy, Mr. Pooh, Toby, Plukje, Jazz and Riki will shine in our book.
That chefs like Wakeat. and Maartje Borst wanted to create brilliant recipes.
That we are supported by brilliant minds such as Esther Hagen-Plantinga, James Peden, Andrew Knight, Compassion Circle, Vegan4Dogs and VegDog.
That De Nobele Hoeve and Bas Waijers wanted to contribute with their animal kids so that we can set up a solid chapter on speciecism, in which we can show that there is no difference between a dog, a pig, a chicken, a cow and so on.
That my great hero Richard Pitcairn, vet and activist wanted to make a wonderful contribution.
And that today our very first, very friendly media article appeared in Dagblad van het Noorden about plant based dog food.
Yes, today I am overflowing with gratitude.
October 4th, if all goes well, this book will be released.
