EEN MOOI VERHAAL
Vandaag is een speciale dag. Het is Margarit’s verjaardag. Een vrouw wiens werk mij zeer dierbaar is; de verhalen vertellen die er toe doen. De verhalen over de niet-menselijke dieren, over hun briljantie en over hoe we allemaal naast elkaar kunnen leven in harmonie, terwijl we genieten van de voedende kracht van het plantenrijk. Het is mijn missie in het leven om deze verhalen te versterken.
Dus toen de corona-maatregelen hun eigen effect op Jonathan’s en mijn bedrijf bleken te hebben, besloten we iets nuttigs te doen met de tijd en ruimte die beschikbaar kwam als resultaat van deze maatregelen. Naast dat we dankzij deze ineens ontstane tijd en ruimte konden genieten van de tuin en de bijzondere rust, was ik in staat om de Herbal Hotline op te zetten en besloten we om voor De Nobele Hoeve een nieuwe website te bouwen. En het is met veel plezier dat ik eindelijk aankondigen kan dat die website vandaag, op Margarit’s verjaardag, online is gegaan!
De website is het resultaat van een dromerig proces. Het was zo leuk om Jonathan’s jarenlange technische ervaring te combineren met mijn door de jaren heen verzamelde vaardigheden en deze in te zetten voor iets dat daardoor kan groeien. Het was bijzonder en leerzaam om met Margarit uit te wisselen, om in te tappen op haar dromen, ideeën en visie en om die vervolgens met de pen en camera om te zetten in woord en beeld. Het was genieten geblazen om samen met haar alle dieren op het erf te bezoeken en vast te leggen op de gevoelige plaat. Het was een heerlijk creatief proces om Margarit’s prachtige verhaal zo te vertellen dat het mensen in beroering zou brengen en zou laten zien hoe wijs, intelligent en eigen ieder individueel dier is.
Ik kan zoveel meer vertellen over dit proces en over Margarit’s werk, maar ik denk dat je er gewoon over moet lezen en het zelf moet zien. Dus surf vooral en graag naar de nieuwe website van De Nobele Hoeve, geniet van alle bijzondere verhalen, en mocht je nog een centje in de hennepsok achter de hand hebben, wellicht wil je deze nodige organisatie dan ondersteunen met een eenmalige, of langer durende donatie.
Ik weet nu al dat Willem, Bram, Mekje, Otje, Mila, Eefje, Babs, Gritje, Setje, Lea, Veertje, Martje, Pluckje, Timo, Finn, Bietje, Duco, Nathalie, Caatje, Ceesje, de rammen bende, Ben, Henk, de hanen band, Joep en Margarit je ontzettend dankbaar zullen zijn.
Dus ga snel naar de site en lees over die mooie plek, ergens diep in de lage landen, onder de rivieren en in het hart van de intensieve veehouderij. Een magische plek waar het zonlicht wordt gefilterd door dansende bladeren, waar de lucht is gevuld met vrolijke liedjes en waar alle grote en kleine wezens hun natuurlijke leven leiden.
A BEAUTIFUL STORY
Today is a special day. It is Margarit’s birthday. A woman who’s work is extremely dear to my heart; the telling of the stories that matter. The stories about the non-human animals, about their brilliance and about how we can all live side by side in a harmonious way while enjoying the nourishing powers of the plant kingdom. It is my mission in life to amplify these stories.
So when the corona measures showed their own effect on Jonathan’s and my business we decided to do something useful with the time and space that came available as a result of these measures. Besides using this new received time and space for working in the garden, enjoying tranquility and setting up the Herbal Hotline, we decided to offer Margarit to build her organisation De Nobele Hoeve a new website. And it is with pleasure and excitement that I can finally announce that that website went online today!
The website is the result of a dreamy process. It was such a joy to combine Jonathan’s techinal experience and my over the years collected skills and put it all into something that can grow because of it. It was such a beautiful journey to learn from Margarit and how she communicates with all the beings that live on her land, how she listens to and observes them so each individual can get the support he/she needs to grow and become his/her own most authentic self. And then to be able to put all of this wisdom, all of these teachings in writing and images.
I can share so much more about this proces and about Margarit’s work, but I think you just have to read about and see it for yourself.
